Tom Sutak
Concerned with an eleven-year period, Sutak gives the reader a detailed look at the adventures and contributions of Jefferson Hunt in the settling of the West, specifically southern California and Utah. The biography is centered on Hunt’s service in the Mormon Battalion and the results of his experience in commanding this force. The reader is also treated to a brief history of the formation of the Battalion and other historical events from 1846 to 1857.
